Before applying the product
Always start by reading the instructions on the container, and remember to be meticulous from the very start of the paint job. The proper tools for working on floors, and careful preparations, are prerequisites for successful results. Stir the paint thoroughly before you start applying the product. Untreated wood: In order to prevent the fibres from rising, wipe the surface with a cloth and lukewarm water. Let dry, and sand off the fibres that have risen using a fine sanding paper (grain 180–220) before you apply the first coat. Prime the surface using Snickerigrund Classic. Concrete floors: You cannot apply the product on fresh concrete: let it cure for some months before applying the product. This may take up towards three months, depending on the thickness of the floor. If there is any curing wax on the surface, this must be removed before using the product. Linoleum floors have usually been maintained using various polishes and waxes, and these must be removed completely. Check the results on a small section of the floor, before treating the entire floor. Wash any previously painted surface thoroughly before applying the product. Remember to properly protect all surrounding surfaces before you start applying the product.

 

Applying the product
Apply at least two coats of undiluted Dimension, using a roller, brush or – after thinning – with a spray gun. If applying to concrete surfaces, the product must be diluted by 10-20% with white spirit for the first application, and then undiluted for the following 2 or 3 applications.

 

After applying the product
Wipe off any excess product before cleaning the tools with water. Close the lid of the container properly before storing it out of reach of children. Any residue of the product should not be disposed of in the drains, but should be disposed of in a proper and approved manner. We care about the environment, and so should you.

 

Care
Use a soft cloth moistened with water, and some domestic detergent to wipe the surface. Never use cleaning alcohol for cleaning paints or lacquers.
