Before applying the product
Always start by reading the instructions on the container, and remember to be meticulous from the very start of the paint job. The proper tools and careful preparations, are prerequisites for successful results. The ambient temperature is another factor that determines the end result. Do not apply the product if it is colder than +5°C. The surface to be treated must be clean, dry and solid. Scrape off any loose paint. Sand and wash any previously treated surface with paint wash and rinse with water. If applying the product to new concrete, the surface must have cured fully beforehand, which, depending on the thickness of the concrete, may take up to 3 months. Untreated concrete must be primed using the product diluted up to 50% with white spirit. In case of there being a lot of dust you must dilute the product 50:50 with white spirit. Untreated wood floors should be primed with the product diluted with 20% white spirit.

 

Applying the product
The product is ready to be used. The product is to be applied with brush or a short nap roller. It can also be applied by using a spray gun, but then the product must be diluted with white spirit. Apply at least twice in thin layers. If the layers are too thick, they may acquire a yellow tone, especially on light-coloured surfaces. Wipe the newly sanded wood with a rag moistened with lukewarm water to minimise the amount of fibres rising. Let dry, and sand off the fibres that have risen using a fine sanding paper (grain 180–240) before you apply the first coat of the product.

 

After applying the product
Wipe off any excess product before cleaning the tools with white spirit. Close the lid of the container properly before storing it out of reach of children. Any residue of the product should not be disposed of in the drains, but should be disposed of in a proper and approved manner. We care about the environment, and so should you.

 

Care
Use a soft cloth moistened with water, and some mild detergent to wipe the surface. Harsh detergents containing alcohol or strong alkaline solution may deteriorate the surface.
