Before applying the product
The surface to be treated must be clean, dry and solid. Sand any sharp edges. Untreated wood must be cleaned, and any loose fibres must be removed. Wash any previously painted surface with paint wash and rinse with water. Leave to dry completely. Use a suitable disinfectant in case of fungi and/or algae. Scrape off any loose paint and fibres or use a steel brush. Any untreated surface should be primed.

 

Applying the product
The product is applied with a brush and is allowed to penetrate the surface. Do not let it dry on the brush. Apply the product lengthwise on the plank, and do the whole plank in one go. The product must be carefully distributed.
New wood must be treated before or immediately after assembly with one application of the product.
The product must be carefully distributed. Exposed end pieces should have 3-4 applications wet-in-wet. Apply your preferred product as a final treatment within a month. The final treatment should have two layers applied.
